Refresh the Fundamentals of Vinyasa Yoga - Suyra Namaskar A

Now that we are a month in to virtual yoga I believe it is helpful to create a small group workshop to break down some yoga concepts that will directly support your at home practice.

With my public offerings of vinyasa and slow flow style practice we all move through Suyra Namaskar A (Sun Salutation A) at least a few times each practice. These linked poses provide the foundation and the warmth to prepare the body for the dynamic work accomplished in a flow class.

Suyra Namaskar A includes Down Dog, Up Dog, and Chaturanga Dandasana to name a few. We will breakdown the alignment of the postures of suyra A as well as modifications that will translate to feeling stronger and having the tools you need to feel capable in action on the mat. We will also spend time discussing how the breath and movement work together.

So whether you are just beginning to explore yoga for the first time, looking to refine your on-going practice, or looking for more personal connection through this virtual platform, join me for this workshop.

Participation cap is six people so everyone can have personal attention and build a more intimate community. This virtual session will run on Zoom.
