Thanksgiving Peace & Gratitude Yoga for Charity Class

Start your Thanksgiving in community with a virtual morning yoga class. Proceeds of this class will be shared with Rosie’s Place, and Daily Table. Yoga at its heart is about connection. We connect back to ourselves physically, mentally, and spiritually, and we connect to others, remembering we are all part of a greater community.

This year is different. Our traditions may not look or feel the same due to the pandemic. Yet there is always space for gratitude. I have found great support and connection through continuing to share and practice yoga with you. My hope is this class will be an opportunity to come together virtually to feel connection and gratitude wherever we physically are.

This 75-minute yoga practice will be a slow flow vinyasa style that will end with restorative poses and meditation. A yoga mat, a blanket or bath towel, and a pillow will be helpful to support your practice. This practice is designed to help you feel more open, grounded, and connected to your heart.

I have chosen two local charities to share the the proceeds of this class:

Rosie’s Place was founded in 1974 as the first women’s shelter in the United States. Their mission is to provide a safe and nurturing environment that helps poor and homeless women maintain their dignity, seek opportunity and find security in their lives.

Daily Table is a nonprofit community grocer dedicated to providing fresh, tasty, convenient and nutritious food to communities most in need at prices everyone can afford.

Cost: $25 for the Zoom link to participate. This link is good for the whole household participating.
