Itinerary:
9:15-10:30am | Vinyasa Flow Practice with Eva | Remove sloth, lethargy, and leftover feelings of sluggishness from the winter with energizing, warming, uplifting poses. This balancing flow class will focus on releasing stubborn heaviness with fiery movement and evaporate mental cloudiness with mind clearing breath work. Expect an emphasis on expansion in the lungs, side bends, twists, heart openers, and breath work, to leave you feeling vibrant and energized.
10:30-10:45am | Break
10:45-12pm | Exhaling to Inhale with Ling | In yoga, we have a term for non-attachment, aparigraha. Like many things in the practice of yoga, it is simple and yet we make it very complex. How many of us have more than we need and yet feel like we do not have enough? How many of us have been itching to do something and feel a bit ungrounded when we live in the present? Springtime is an ideal time to practice the art of letting go and contentment. In this workshop, we will engage in-depth with some yoga philosophy, specifically aparigraha, and learn how to live our practice on and off the mat.
12-12:30pm | Break
12:30-2pm | Restorative Practice & Closing Ceremony with Anne | Completing our day will be a restorative practice in which we let the body feel supported, followed by a guided loving-kindness meditation & savasana. We will welcome in the light and warmth of the spring, find gratitude in what we have learned, and create space in our bodies and mind to enter the new season with a clear mind and open heart.
We will end our day with a group closing ceremony.
Cost: $90 for all three sessions or $35 per session
